| Successful Fishing: The mysterious "e"

| Factor.There has always been a strange,

| | coincidence. I fish, she comes along and

| and to this day, unsolved mysterious

| | outfishes me.AND--It was not just with
|
| theory in the fishing world.My wife knows
| |
| | her. If I happened to be fishing in the
|
| of this theory and she thinks I am crazy,
| |
| | same boat or locale with the female
|
| paranoid, and maybe even a little hard
| |
| | species present, I would always get
|
| up.The theory is based on secrets that
| |
| | outfished. It got to the point where if I
|
| have been held by a small but priveleged
| |
| | saw a woman or if my wife was fishing, I
|
| group of men, who have sworn secrecy and
| |
| | just resigned myself to playing cribbage
|
| taken blood oaths, in order to keep the
| |
| | or "guiding"--so to speak.After twenty
|
| modern societies from crumbling.I reveal
| |
| | years or so of this trend,and after
|
| this secret at great peril and with no
| |
| | talking to most other fishermen, I
|
| apparent regard to the ramifications that
| |
| | realized this was not just happening to
|
| may take place, out of an act of final
| |
| | me. So, like unlocking the DaVinci code

| frustration.I am tired of getting
| |
| | and after examination of years of
|
| outfished by my wife!!I see you there,

| looking puzzled and confused--but let me

| | secret.Estrogen.Yes, the "e" factor, is

| explain.I first started noticing, what I

| | the female hormone--estrogen.What else

| will call the "e" factor-- back in

| | secret. Women will always outfish
|
| did relatively well, catching numerous 19

| | men....because of the"e" factor.You can
|

| | change sides in a boat, throw your fly or
|
| soon to be wife, would join me on fishing

| | bait into the same water, or sabotage her
|
| camping trips and always seemed content
| |
| | equipment--the results will always be the

| would tire of the camping scene and would

| | through a fishing rod,down the line and
|
| ask to join me in the hunt for Browns.

| take it innnn.... NOW SET THE HOOK!!"Oh,

| | camp--women could be out until dark
|
| she would act excited and further bolster
| |
| | wrestling large salmonids, and
|
| my confidence. Now I was also a great
| |
| | complaining of the loss of good
|
| guide and instructor!!Then I would go
| |
| | daylight.While we complain about our
|
| back to fishing, kind of tap her on the

| | spouses at "Bunco night", our ladies will
|
| head and say: "There, just keep doing
| |
| | be tying and trying new combinations of

| that." She would fawn over me and I would
| |
| | chenille and fur!!...And we're not

| strut cocksure back to my fishing hole.

|
| Pretty soon she would be squealing

| | can't even count on menopause to level
|
| --"OOH I have another one!"I would walk
| |
| | the fishing playing field anymore.Women
|
| over and remove the fish, and before I
| |
| | are having estrogen replacement
|
| could wipe my hands off she would be back
| |
| | therapy--under the guise of better
|
| in the water,and catching more fish. I am
| |
| | health-- to keep their fish catching
|
| sure you can understand that this would
| |
| | superiority from diminishing!!I know I
|
| get old after awhile....so I would then
| |
| | have been irresponsible here, and like
|
| instruct her on the removal of the fish,
| |
| | "Deep Throat" from the watergate era, may
|
| so I could go back to "providing".The "e"
| |
| | not realize the way history has been
|
| factor would now mysteriously
| |
| | altered, but the frustration was just to
|
| appear.Nada, nothing, kotonashi!! Not
| |
| | great.Why speak now??Well... the increase
|
| even a bite--for me that is.
| |
| | in the number of women that are taking up
|
| Meanwhile, the "squealfest" continued
| |
| | fly fishing, and fishing in general, is
|
| over on the little misses pole.I would
| |
| | getting astronomical and growing at an
|
| put special twists in the bait,
| |
| | alarming rate. So, the only hope is to
|
| concentrate like David Copperfield trying
| |
| | make an appeal to the more sensitive side
|
| to bend a spoon, and toss in to the very
| |
| | of the female species, and ask that they
|
| spot I instructed her to fish in, and the
| |
| | back down. They need to understand that
|
| results would be the same.She would
| |
| | they have an unfair advantage, in the "e"
|
| squeal and I would give her an insincere
| |
| | factor, and we men have sooo little
|
| "atta girl". Of course pretty soon she
| |
| | left....please let us have the
|
| would tire of catching fish, give me a
| |
| | fish!!!!That's it...that's my appeal, and
|
| bouyant- practically flipant- "Oh, I'm
| |
| | I can only hope that women everywhere
|
| getting tired," and bound off back to
| |
| | will respond positively to this cry for

| camp leaving me to clean HER fish and

| | help, and we men can brim confidently
|
| haul them back to camp. I would seethe
| |
| | once more.Until then, I have begun
|
| and "bear down", determined to at least
| |
| | estrogen replacement therapy myself....
|
| catch a bigger fish--but after awhile- I
| |
| | I'll be damned if I will continue to be
|
